Joao Felix landed his dream transfer when he joined Barcelona on loan for the rest of the season. The Atletico Madrid striker had been categorical in the past that the Blaugrana was his club of choice.


Xavi Hernandez`s side made it happen with the striker joining alongside his namesake and international teammate, Joao Cancelo.

Felix's career hasn't hit the expected heights when Atletico forked out an excess of 120 million euros to sign him from Benfica in 2019. He spent a part of last season on loan at Chelsea, but the West London club turned on the opportunity to make the deal permanent.

He now joins the La Liga defending champions with a past interview of him resurfacing online. Felix was once put to task to choose the better free-kick taker between Barcelona's great son and his national team captain, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Joao Felix showed he is one of the most skilful footballers on the planet at the moment during his presentation as a Barcelona player after completing his loan move.


Having completed his loan move to Barcelona from Atletico Madrid on the transfer deadline day on Friday, the 23-year-old forward was presented as a Barca player on Saturday.

The Portugal international joined the reigning La Liga champions to replace Ousmane Dembele, who sealed a £43.5m move to Paris Saint-Germain earlier on in the window, Give Me Sport reports.
